The feed in tariff (FiT) will pay you for the electricity you generate even if you use the electricity yourself or export it to the national grid. The scheme guarantees a minimum price for the electricity.
In addition, you will also be reducing your energy bills as you will be using your home generated wind power energy instead of importing from the grid.
To qualify for FiT your installation must be installed by a Microgeneration Certification Scheme (MCS) approved installer.
